National Underwriting and Production Risk Management (NUPRM) provides support for transaction underwriting, managing production risk, and implementation of policies and procedures that support the home lending process. As part of Wells Fargo Home Lending, NUPRM identifies and adopts best practices and controls in relation to retail mortgage products.

This Research/Remediation Analyst 2 within the National Escalation Team (NET) will be primarily responsible for assigning and managing customer driven escalation intake. This position will require exceptional communication and customer service skills with the ability to work very closely with all levels of the team. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple issues at one time is an important business function. Ability to develop partnerships is a critical part of the teams success.
Functions could also include:
May provide mentoring to other analysts within the NET, Fulfillment and Sales.
Providing recommendations that could be out of the box solutions.
Examining transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of customer contact experience in a financial services environment; or 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services operations, underwriting, or quality assurance

Desired Qualifications
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Other Desired Qualifications
* An ability to perform root/cause analysis and strong drive towards effective resolution.
* Current mortgage experience preferred
* Mortgage underwriting or processing experience preferred
* Excellent customer service skills

Job Expectations
* Ability to provide and work from a home office
* This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

Salary Information
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

MN-Minneapolis: Min: $47,900 Mid: $66,500
NC-Charlotte: Min: $47,900 Mid: $66,500
AZ-PHX-Northwest Phoenix: Min: $47,900 Mid: $66,500
