Job Summary:
SUMMARY
The Streaming Solutions team is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Senior Manager of Strategic Marketing you will oversee in-show integrations into Hulu original series as well as the development of world-class advertising solutions to meet our advertiser business needs, while driving revenue for Hulu. The right person for this role has a deep understanding of the scripted television production process, key players and has experience working with scripted talent and producers. This person also has extensive experience in developing and packaging media opportunities and knows their way around a media plan. WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Supervise a team, providing strategic business oversight and career development
* Advance Streaming Solutions efforts to develop best-in-class opportunities for brands to align with and integrate into our growing slate of content
* Oversee proactive development, pricing and packaging of custom opportunities for advertisers and build corresponding materials to drive excitement in the marketplace
* Develop market-leading ad sales opportunities tied to Hulu originals by collaborating with and influencing multiple internal stakeholders
* Oversee the execution of in-show integrations into Hulus scripted and unscripted series, providing day-to-day guidance to managers, ensuring executions are on track and satisfying the needs of Hulu, clients, studios and producers
* Attend integration shoots with manager when necessary and oversee the team that liaises with production on behalf of client
* Act as the face of Hulu Streaming Solutions within sales, across the company and at client meetings when necessary, to discuss and advise on Hulu sponsorship, marketing and integration opportunities
* Contribute to high-level proactive pitches and RFP responses, requiring extensive cross-functional collaboration
* Streamline internal processes and develop team resources as needed
* Maintain an understanding of how to best utilize our ad products in packages
* Advocate for ad sales and the importance of advertising solutions development with partner groups to increase revenue
WHAT TO BRING
* Bachelors degree required
* 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing across a variety of industries from studio, production, network, or agency
* 5+ years of scripted television integration experience
* 5+ years of managerial experience
* Understanding of the scripted production process, key players with experience working with talent and producers on set
* Understanding of media plan development and experience supporting an ad sales organization
* A holistic perspective of our industry, utilizing point of view of sales, content, product teams, agency partners and clients, to effectively strategize how to best serve brand partners, our viewers, and revenue streams
* Background in both linear and digital advertising
* Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
