The Quality Assurance (QA) Training Specialist is primarily responsible for delivering group and individual training to employees that perform key process functions for an logistics, repair and integration center; which includes providing recommendations into the development of training materials.
This position is responsible for performing ~1% quality assurance audits of all tasks/functions in accordance with established standard operating procedures, document pass/fail and deliver feedback/coaching to department leaders for immediate corrective action to support improved business operations. Responsible for maintaining all training and auditing records as pursuant to ISO 9001:2015 and other management system requirements.
This position is expected to identify root causes in overall facility performance and process gaps as it relates to key processes and work with local leadership to ensure conformance to Standard Operation Procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:
- Assess process needs and deliver training programs- including material handling equipment
- Conduct quality assurance audits pursuant to management requirements standard operating procedures
- Maintain training and auditing records in accordance to management system requirements
- Develop training curricula; provide recommendations to Quality Manager
- Additional duties as assigned

Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience assessing and delivering ISO 9001:2015 or other standardized training and performing ISO quality assurance audits in a manufacturing, repair, or logistics setting.
- 5 years experience is preferred.
Education/Certifications:
- High School Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- ISO Certified preferred and Lean Sigma Yellow belt preferred
Working Conditions:
- Distribution center environment may include: exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
