Position Summary:
Works within all phases of the sales cycle, pre and post to support the Networking, Storage and Security sales efforts at Staples Technology Solutions throughout North America. Must possess and maintain key Networking, Storage and Security technical training certifications (e.g. CCNA) that qualify Staples to sell certain lines at top tier level. The position is located in Remote/NFL City. Work directly with the Manufacturer or Distributor sales leadership and operational teams that distribute and support Networking, Storage and Security for Staples sales and operational teams across NA to identify, architect and help close sales opportunities, as well as provide program and resource support. This includes customer facing sales visits with STS sellers.

* Takes action on all Networking, Storage and Security sales opportunities, supporting the Staples sales teams inclusive of Midmarket, Commercial and Enterprise.
* Required to possess and maintain Networking, Storage and Security technical certifications and knowledge through training, conferences, workshops, publications and professional networks.
* Assist Staples sales teams with new Networking, Storage and Security Deal/Project Registration submissions and tracking approved or denied nominations.
* Collaborate with new customers, become long-term, trusted adviser to customers, meet with key customers on a periodic basis to discuss Business Technology challenges. Business Travel is required.
* Be the Staples sellers window into Networking, Storage and Security. Strive for excellence in providing the best Customer Experience for the Staples sellers and our customers.
* Proactive engagement of Networking, Storage and Security partner field reps and their leadership based on opportunity. Engage other brand subject matter experts as needed for informative purposes to craft solutions.
* Create presentations describing the value proposition of the proposed solution. Present/Message Networking, Storage and Security technologies at customer events. Collaborate with other Tech Solutions team members.
* Design technical solutions to solve business challenges solution blueprint/design generation using various Networking, Storage and Security tools. Develop SOWs to complete the necessary deployment/integration, and work with Sales and Sales Ops to build Customer Proposals.
* Be able to facilitate onsite Networking, Storage and Security sales calls with Staples sellers. Responsible for discussing core and strategic Networking, Storage and Security product sets.
* Provide highlevel weekly updates on the state of Networking, Storage and Security business. Participate and contribute in weekly team calls (pipeline, cadence, touchpoints, etc.).

Basic:
* 5-10 Years of Technical Sales or Operational Experience with Networking, Storage and Security or closely relates Technology Products.
* Technical diversity with Enterprise environment including certifications from HPE, Lenovo DCG, Dell/EMC, Fortinet, Cigent, VMware, others desired in Cyber security or Cloud.
* Excellent Communication Skills.

* Technical Skills (Vast Product Knowledge I.T.).
* Microsoft Tools.
* Determines right solution for large I.T. opportunities.
* Technical Solution Architect.
* Solution Strategy Design.

Preferred:
* Bachelors Degree Recommended.
* Strongly preferred Dell/EMC, Palo Alto, VMware Technical Certification.
* Preferred HPE, Cisco CCNA (additional certs i.e. CCNP a plus), Fortinet Technical Certification.
