Job Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for the management and operation of the pharmacy department at a store level, including but not limited to prescriptions, inventory control, customer service, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adhering to company policies and management of pharmacy staff.

Education:
Bachelors required or equivalent education/experience.
Experience:
Minimum 7 years relevant experience
5 years supervisory experience
Certification may be preferred
Responsibilities:
Manage managers and exempt associates
Accountable for performance and results of multiple related teams
Policy formation for their area Identifies and solves complex problems - proactive
Persuades others
Communication with cross-functional teams, vendors, customers, leaders
Typically 3-7 direct reports including a Manager 1
Physical Requirements:

The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
