What you will do for Siemens Smart Infrastructure:
Under the direction of your supervisor, you will conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and general servicing of HVAC control systems (including detailed troubleshooting). You will be responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interaction. You will also be responsible for completing required project and service documentation.

Responsibilities:

* Acts as the subject matter expert on all issues related to the cGMP, cGLP (current Good Manufacturing Practice, current Good Laboratory Practice) regulated customer.
* Acts as the technical liaison between the company and the customer, is involved in system installation, testing, verification and service support
* Defines, designs, plans, schedules and assists in execution of validation work, including but not limited to: Site Acceptance Tests and Validation Protocols
* Provides consultative services to internal and external customers regarding validation-related topics
* Supervises the execution of validation work by specialists and ensures that they are properly trained and qualified
* Coordinates work with the onsite Supervisor and customer to ensure cGMP requirements are met while project schedules and cost estimates are maintained. Assists in resolving project delays, changes and contractor disruptions
* Authors and secures customer approval on all validation-related documentation to include: Functional Requirement Specification, User Requirement Specifications, Software Design Specification, Validation Project Plan, Technical Evaluations, Initial System Assessments, Standard Operating Procedures, summary reports, etc.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred
* Experience installing and servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment; 2+ years preferred
* Extensive knowledge of a variety of electronic or digital controls systems, and ability to test and write modifications to systems software in multiple languages
* Skilled in programming, start-up, checkout, and troubleshooting complex projects
* Pharmaceutical processes and plant design
* cGMP principles documentation, practices and validation requirements
* Project design, programming, job startup, check-out and troubleshooting
* Demonstrated experience in the integration of low-voltage building sub-systems using various industry protocols, such as BACnet, N2, Modbus, etc.
* Ability to work in a variety of circumstances, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment; working in ducts, crawl spaces, roofs, basements, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions
* Must be able to use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet
* Must be able to carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted
* Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
* Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
* Good verbal and written communication skills in English
* Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
* Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations
