Position Overview

Siemens Digital Industries Factory Automation business unit is looking for someone to join our team in the purposeful expansion of our footprint within strategic key accounts in the Electronics and Semiconductor Industry. In this role you will exercise your technical expertise and intimate knowledge of Siemens Factory Automation products to help with identifying business opportunities.

Our target accounts have a global footprint; therefore, you will be working closely with the worldwide Siemens organization and your counterparts in Asia and Europe. To help the accounts reaching their goals in global manufacturing, new technologies like edge computing, artificial intelligence in manufacturing and virtual commissioning will be demonstrated. Helping to lead our accounts to the next decade of success with our rapidly growing Digital Industries portfolio is the goal.

Their global supply chains, fast moving product life cycles and cost driven markets motivates them to look for new ways of reaching their targets. Responsibilities

Support the Business Development function to maximize strategic account penetration Develop concepts based on Siemens Digital Industries portfolio

Coordinate and prioritize project engineering within the team to meet deadlines for achievements and completion of customer projects.

Pro-actively drive project updates and lead positive customer expectations on active projects. Present and promote Digital Manufacturing hardware and software products to early engagement prospects and customers Perform complex hardware and/or software design consultation in accordance with customer/project needs Provide one-on-one support and assist customer applications from concept through completion

Collaborate with multi-functional teams for sophisticated domestic and international projects Represent Siemens on industry dedicated events and fairs Increase overall presence and reputation at the assigned accounts

Required Knowledge/skills, Education, And Experience

The Technical Program Manager is well versed in automation architectures involving multiple products and technologies and has customer facing experience. Building and growing customer relationships is a strength.

BS/BA Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience Deep technical understanding of the Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio, including, Automation (TIA Portal), Motion Control and Drives, IoT, Artificial intelligence, Edge technology, Simulation and virtual commissioning and Mindsphere.

Minimum 3 years experience in leading sophisticated projects in a customer facing role with a proven track record of success able to work optimally with individuals from multiple cultures and backgrounds Strong communication and presentation skills

More than 5 years experience in industrial automation Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes would be an advantage Experience using project management tools such as MS Project would also be an advantage Travel: 10%
