Job Description

The Director, Automation and Data Center will implement new processes and key performance indicators to drive efficiency.

The Director, Automation and Data Center will support the Executive Director, Regulatory Project Management to ensure the Global Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs & Green Chemistry team delivers ELC Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs activities on time and on budget. The Director, Automation and Data Center will assist with tracking our internal and external capacity by month, project status, and manage priorities.

* Steer operational aspects of Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs & Green Chemistry, managing timelines, planning activities, execution, resource allocation, budget, analyses and reporting.
* Re-engineer signature processes and enable with new technology, including Cosmetovigilance and Safety Assessment of Raw Materials and Formulas
* Model capacity planning external vs internal - based on key initiatives
* Ensure risks and issues are escalated and corrective actions taken
* Analyze data and present recommendations as required.
* Track placement and reporting for high priority projects (new testing, data mining), coordinating their various activities within the Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs & Green Chemistry and providing visibility to management on status and results
* Build partnerships (external affiliates, vendors, etc).

Qualifications
* Project Management experience
* Agile learner, that easily and quickly connects the dots.
* Detail-orientated and attentive to nuances
* Ability to execute processes month over month
* Collaborative in implementation of new processes
* Clear, concise communicator
* Ability to think critically, capture insights and draw conclusions
* Microsoft Excel, Visio, Sharepoint/Teams/One Drive proficiency
* Business Degree (Master's preferred)
* 6-8 years minimum experience
