This is a leadership position in the Qualcomm SoC CPU Subsystem team. You will be responsible for leading the effort on the CPU Subsystem effort for the next generation Compute products. A successful candidate will have a can do attitude to work through organizational boundaries to lay out the best strategy for execution. Key responsibilities include the following:

* Lead the Design/Verification and overall subsystem effort across the Global teams
* Drive the overall validation effort across the various platforms including Emulation
* Must work with cross-functional teams of SW, SoC, Interconnect, Power Management, Debug, Security and infrastructure teams
* Ability to present technical challenges/details to executive management
* Will be required to aggressively hire and ramp up a new team for the execution and ensure that the execution stays within the budget
* A team player that must be able to work with diverse opinions and keeping the team focused towards the end goal
* Driving the effort towards good design practices and good documentation to ensure scalability for the long term roadmap
* Expected to drive the post silicon support activity and support the product execution to commercialization

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field.

8+ years ASIC design, verification, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

15 years of Experience in ASIC Design and Development

Master's in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Excellent Technical, Analytical and Problem-solving skills along with attention to detail

Must be Strong in Communication, Time Management and Presentation Skills.

Expect the role to be a self-starter who can drive the execution across multi-site matrixed teams

Team player and must exert a positive influence on the team morale and culture

Knowledge of the client computing market and the performance trends in the industry

Experience with ARM and/or x86 architectures

Expertise in bus interfaces, interconnects, power management, debug, security, PDN, and other system level expertise is essential for this role.

Location:

San Diego preferred but can work out of Santa Clara office.
