Job Description Digital Content Manager will create and manage engaging content for digital and print marketing initiatives, both internal and external, and support social media presences across all platforms. This includes creating original copy for email marketing, web copy, presentations, training materials, flyers, intranet, human resources support, and other assets as needed. In addition, this role will oversee the social media content plan, along with following social media trends, managing a social media advertising budget, and making strategy recommendations. Will work closely with a wide variety of departments, suppliers and category managers to market various products and implement aspects of the National Marketing program. Responsible for collaboration with the sales and marketing team to drive execution of SEO and SEM campaigns.
Accountable for all digital content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, and leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. This includes creating original content for internal marketing efforts, including intranet, human resources, internal branding, internal communications etc..
Maintains content calendar and creates original content for Performance Foodservice and Performance Food Group's external marketing efforts, including emails, blogs, web sites, print advertising, sales materials, social media, and more. Collaborates with art director and other marketing staff to devise creative strategies and contribute to overall marketing campaigns.
Collaborates with sales and marketing team to drive execution of SEO & SEM campaigns.
Supports social media presences, creates campaign ideas, plans content to appeal to targeted personas. Makes recommendations about social media advertising and manages related budget. Reports on social media analytics.
Uses content management system to publish content and analyze website traffic and user engagement metrics.
Meets with experts across the company to understand their message and translate it into persuasive content. Understands company and brand personality to craft copy that is consistent with company brand.
Follows food trends and looks for ways to incorporate Performance Foodservice brands and products to inspire chefs across the country. Follows social media trends and makes recommendations on Performance Foodservice social media and marketing strategy.
Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Required Experience: 4 - 6 Years
Digital Content/strategy development & management systems including SEO/SEM execution, creating content calendars, and managing social media accounts.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Education: Bachelors
Marketing, Design, Tech, English and/or Communication
