About the role:
We are currently seeking a Specialist Master Data Management (MDM) & Agreements to join our Peabody Business Services (PBS) team.

Reporting to the Manager Master Data Management & Agreements, this role is responsible for managing global Master Data Management (MDM) and Outline Agreement (OA) Administration. Primarily, this position will support Peabodys Australian mines in the economical and timely purchase of goods and services by facilitating the vendor approval and creation process, set up, maintenance and analyses of Outline Agreements (OA) and the set up and maintenance of Material and Vendor Data in SAP.

Key duties will include but are not limited to:

* Manage vendor approval and creation process including insurance requirements
* Manage Master Data processes including material master creation and maintenance
* Coordination of Master Performance Agreements for suppliers providing on-site services
* Reporting for vendor scorecards for expiring agreements and agreement accuracy
* Review purchase requisitions and purchase orders
* Manage and execute vendor maintenance and workflow requests
* Ensure transactions are processed accurately, effectively and compliantly
* Monitor daily workflow activity to review and resolve invoice discrepancies
* Review KPIs to monitor MDM and OA activity, compliance and performance
* Pull reports and analyse data to ensure materials and supplies are purchased at the most economical total life cycle cost and assist sites with making sound purchasing decisions
* Daily fuel price updates and other commodity pricing updates
* Manage daily administrative requirements for competitive part quotations, escalation analysis and price discrepancies
* Administer and maintain vendor OAs in SAP
* Ensure SAP data is kept organised, up to date and clean
* Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives

The lifestyle:
This position is offered on a 4-day working week with working from home arrangements. Shift starts at 1:30pm through to 12:30am to support Australian business hours. For Daylight Savings Time, shift start will be 2:30pm to 01:30am.

About you:

* Bachelors degree in Business Administration, IT or related essential
* 3 years master data management experience preferred
* Working knowledge of catalogue, vendor and outline agreements essential
* Strong working knowledge of SAP
* Mining industry acumen and supply chain process knowledge

In addition to the above, you will have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills with a customer service focused. You will have a high attention to detail in performing data entry and paperwork processing and thrive on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be team player, flexible and resilient.

Physical requirements:

* Must have the ability to sit for up to 8 hours
* Must be able to use a computer and communicate effectively in various forms, including email and by phone
* Must have the ability to review paper and electronic documents and complete computer entry of data from paper documents
* Must be able to find, remove and return files to/from file cabinets and discuss issues by telephone and in person
* Must be able to operate copier, fax machine, etc.
