Over the past three years, Kenworth has launched more new product than at any time in our history, including a new engine and all new truck platforms. Job Functions / Responsibilities
* Lead quality initiatives for truck assembly across North American truck plants.
* Direct Kenworths Quality Management System. Lead the Division audit program and administer improvement action plans to ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
* Develop and execute strategies for identification and control of Critical to Quality features.
* Advance the performance of Electronic Work Instructions for enhanced quality controls.
* Coordinate benchmarking of quality programs and implementation of best practices.
* Support advancements in Connected Quality analytics.
* Manage Visual Quality Acceptance Standards.
Qualifications
* Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related major required.
* Demonstrated ability gained through 5+ years of progressively complex assignments.
* Excellent analytical/problem solving abilities.
* Proven team leadership skills. High energy level, goal oriented individual.
* Willingness to travel up to 10% annually, occasionally on short notice.
Desired Skills/ Competencies
* Strong working knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
* Experience with ISO Quality Management Systems and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent organizational, PC and project management skills. Ability to handle multiple assignments and changing priorities.
