The Artifacts team in the Developer Services organization is responsible for the Azure Artifacts service that allows engineers to create, host, and share packages and build outputs with their teams. The Azure Artifacts team is responsible for building a massively scalable and cost-efficient deduplicating storage service to handle build output storage, build output caching, and debugging symbol storage. This service is a key component in supporting the continued growth of Azure Pipelines and the migration of the last large on-premises build systems within Microsoft (Windows and Office) to the cloud. As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the strategic roadmap for this service and work with your engineering counterparts to deliver on that roadmap. You will also work with customers to help formulate the product strategy and storage needs of the Azure Artifacts service.
You will be working closely with engineering and our customers to define the future of our products. You will write specs, present at ERs and be the customer voice. You'll create feedback systems to measure the impact of your work through sentiment analysis, developer satisfaction, qualitative feedback, and telemetry. You'll help create a work environment that's inclusive of all perspectives, incentivizes diversity, and creates accountability for positive team collaboration.
Required qualifications:
* 5+ years of relevant Program Management experience
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related fields
* Excellent understanding of and experience in engineering systems
* Experience with package management systems
* Experience with open source package managers, along with understanding of their use in the software development lifecycle
