Within CSCP, we are part of the Capacity Customer Experience (CCE) team and our vision is to deliver the best capacity customer experience by intelligent and proactive management of all Microsoft cloud capacity.
As the Director - Integrated Business Planning at Microsoft you will have enterprise wide responsibility for managing and orchestrating the Integrated Business Planning process for Azure Core (Compute or Storage or Networking). You will have the opportunity to work with a cross functional team of business leaders and planning process owners on our journey to world class performance through the application of IBP principles, tools, and methodologies. This position requires a hands-on experienced individual with a good balance of technical, business, and leadership competencies. This position will also require a significant level of independent thought and an ability to challenge existing strategies, processes, and execution elements to achieve goals and objectives of Azure Infrastructure.
This position is responsible for implementing and monitoring a sustainable IBP Strategy and IBP process to include:
* IBP/ S&OP monthly discipline
* Integration and alignment of New Product Development
* Field,u202FFinance, Demand and Capacity Planning calendars, processes, and tools
* Alignment and integration with Microsoft CapEx and financial processes
* Developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective execution, integration and performance of IBP process
* Driving/sustaining change within the organization through stakeholder management, developing/implementing organizational-wide training sessions and overseeing IBP processes and meetings
* Facilitating the integration of new product commercialization calendars and requirements, customer planning, and strategic initiatives into the IBP process
* Participating in shaping Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes to improve IBP integration and performance
* Continuously improve the monthly IBP cycle including timeliness of the demand and supply plan submissions, robust alignment with financial budgets and projections and critical meetings such as Demand (unconstrained and net) and Supply Reviews as well as IBP and Executive IBP meetings.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, an MBA or a Master's in Supply Chain Management is preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in the Supply Chain, Operations or commercial organization
* 5+ years of specific experience in Finance Planning,u202FSupply Chain or Planning Management, including 2 or more years of S&OP/IBP experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the High-Tech industry and hyper scale supply chain.
* Preferred demonstrated leadership through success at senior level positions in leading teams and project initiatives
* Demonstrated ability to successfully manage change in the organization and to influence others
* Good analytical skills and capable of using models for optimization purposes
* Strong project management/process improvement skills
* Proven/excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Prior experience in managing by influence across multiple teams/groups across an organization is required
* APICS certification is preferred.
* Must have understanding of end to end supply chain interactions and interdependencies.
