KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in establishing enterprise data governance implementation roadmaps including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities
* Help develop enterprise-wide data governance framework
* Assist in establishing data quality standards, rules, thresholds, metrics, and dashboards
* Work in defining roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company's principal information assets
* Help in developing & maintaining inventory of the enterprise metadata including authoritative systems owners
* Engage in project management activities such as project planning, fees/expense management, resource planning, status reporting, and risk/issue tracking
Qualifications:
* A minimum of two years of experience in a consulting role (preferably with a national or global management consulting firm) or minimum of two years of experience working in banking institutions
* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university; MBA or advanced degree from an accredited college/university is preferred
* Strong knowledge of leading data governance practices
* Experience with banking data structures and data challenges, such as: development and design specialization with Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, development and design specialization with Data Quality solutions, development and design specialization with Metadata solutions
* Prior experience in core banking, lending, and business management processes, as well as systems implementations, process reengineering, and requirements definition is preferred
* Travel may be up to 80-100%
