Job Description

Wealth Management (WM) Capital Markets and Securities Operations (CMSO) supports the E2E securities processing lifecycle for U.S. Private Bank and JPM Wealth Management. The team provides Trade Support for Equities, Listed Options, Fixed Income, Structures/Syndicates, OTC Derivatives, FX, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, and Real Estate. They also support Asset Transfers and Asset Servicing, including corporate actions, income, proxy, and class actions. They partner with various groups, including Advisors, Trading, Supervisory Management, Compliance, and Technology, to deliver their agenda.

CMSO is establishing a new Strategy and Design Team. The Strategy and Design Team (S&D) will be a focused group of resources that will support Target Operating Model realization. They will support end to end process reviews, leveraging Signavio process modeling and decision making. They will queue process improvement recommendations with Rapid Results, Intelligent Automation, Strategic Technology, et al, or, in the instance where the solution might be self-serve, they will leverage their Alteryx and Xceptor skills to build and deliver the solution.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will partner closely with the five core functions of CMSO: Alternatives, Asset Servicing, Asset Transfers, Capital Markets, and Settlements to establish a prioritized book of work. This book of work will cover process reviews, improvement recommendations, alignment of recommendations to appropriate development channels, and, where appropriate, self-delivery of solutions leveraging the Change Mobilization Toolkit (e.g. Alteryx, Xceptor). This role will closely partner with change management resources in each function. You will manage the agreed book of work, document and analyze processes, prepare presentations of findings and recommendations, partner with Change Mobilization Center of Excellence (COE) and Technology to determine best solution alignment, provide additional analysis toward requirements as required, manage through Agile stages, and, leverage self-serve tools and skills as appropriate. This role will require an ability to deal with complex challenges, tight deadlines, competing priorities, and ongoing, positive interactions with the management team.

Responsibilities

Relationship Management Develop and maintain relationships with the five core functions of CMSO to ensure ongoing dialogue of opportunities and how best to partner to deliver solutions.

Project Management Translate opportunities into a book of work with clear objectives, path of progression, and next step management. Adhere to discipline and provide weekly status of actions achieved in previous week, planned actions for the coming week, and issues requiring support.

Meeting Management Manage meetings effectively with clear agendas and meeting materials, appropriate invitees, and timely meeting minute distribution and next step actions.

Process Engineering Model and analyze processes in Signavio. Identify opportunities for improvement.

Creative Problem Solving/Presentations Prepare PowerPoint presentations that articulate findings of process analysis, recommend solutions, and tell the story of the problem to be solved.

Change Mobilization/Common Capability Knowledge Develop and maintain knowledge of the capabilities available for solutions through Change Mobilization.

Agile Management Manage solutions through the Agile lifecycle, including documenting business requirements via epics and user stories, coordinating iterative testing sprints, and coordinating implementation. Capture documentation in JIRA. Partner closely with various areas of CMSO, Change Mobilization COE, Testing COE, and Technology resources.

Change Mobilization Tool Licensing Develop and maintain Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor, Tableau, et al knowledge to support self-serve solutioning of problems identified through process reviews.

Data Analysis As needed, collect data, synthesize, and translate results into concrete actionable solutions.

Subject Matter Expertise - Develop subject matter expertise on specific areas within CMSO, based on your portfolio of projects.

Initiative - Work independently, keep management informed of progress and escalate issues.

Qualifications

Ability to manage different stakeholder groups to identify opportunities, complete analysis, and deliver solutions

Previous project management and process modeling/improvement experience

Exposure to Agile lifecycle management, including business requirements via epics/user stories and build/test sprints

Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail oriented and strong interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives

Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes

Previous experience creating presentations. PitchPro experience a plus

Excellent communication and presentations skills, across various stakeholders and senior management

Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel

Exposure to Signavio, Alteryx, and Xceptor tools. Previous utilization to deliver results a plus.

Ability to work in a high paced environment, be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

Be a team player who shows commitment and dedication, and can maintain a positive attitude and high level of performance on high profile/time-sensitive initiatives
