Commercial Banking (CB) delivers extensive industry knowledge, local expertise and dedicated service to more than 24,000 global clients, including corporations, municipalities, financial institutions and not-for-profit organizations along with nearly 35,000 real estate investors/owners.

Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) manages the booking & servicing of loan products for firmwide wholesale businesses. With more than 2,000 global employees, 300,000 loans and $2T+ in commitments under management, WLS is a mission-critical operations function for the firm.

The successful candidate will join a global Finance & Business Management (F&BM) group, supporting WLS Flow products in CB. Flow consists of a variety of functions, including Loan Origination, Closing and Servicing. He/she will learn core business processes and partner with Operations teams, Technology teams, and F&BM team resources to lead both strategy and execution of a comprehensive operational metrics reporting & analytics program.

Primary Responsibilities

* Define, monitor, and report key management metrics; implement and manage scorecards and dashboards at the employee, team, and department levels
* Engage with stakeholders to understand diverse reporting requirements and serve as a thought leader in simplifying the execution of data management and reporting processes, as well as metrics definitions
* Develop a headcount capacity and forecasting model to ensure appropriate staffing levels in anticipation of expected volume patterns; refresh based on actually observed monthly volumes
* Perform data analysis to generate insights
* Support data migration activities including requirement analysis, user story development and user testing

Qualifications:

* 5+ years of total experience within MIS, Operations, Finance, and/or Management Consulting roles. The successful candidate will have a unique mix of technical data skills and business acumen, with strong past experience in operational process monitoring & management.
* Proven experience delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources. Attention to detail a must with focus on executive quality presentation
* Excellent communication, project management, and client partnership ability
* Advanced-level ability expected in all MS Office tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA, PowerPoint)
* Proficiency with data analysis toolset required: databases, SQL and data visualization. E.g., Qlik Sense preferred
* RFamiliarity with Agile software development process
* Familiarity with Python and
* Experience in banking
* BS/BA required; quantitative focus strongly preferred
