SCHEDULE: Full-time

Located in the outskirts of Washington, D.C, Reston Hospital Center (231-bed acute facility) lies within the vibrant Town Center of Reston, known for its lively mix of restaurants, shops, and services. Reston Hospital Center is an HCA (Hospital Corporation of America) facility making it a very secure and reputable facility to work with. Our clinical staff deliver expert care in 14 OR rooms:

Spine

Orthopedic Care

Bariatric Surgery

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Qualifications

Education:

* Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program, BSN required

Licensure:

* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
* BLS

Experience:

* preferred experience in spine or neurosurgery
* minimum of 4 year of clinical nursing experience with at least 2 years of progressive leadership growth.
* Previous supervisory experience required
* Extensive knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterile processing standards of practice required
* Knowledge of The Joint Commission, OSHA, AAMI, and AORN standards required. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
