Cross-Product Lead AI ML Data Engineering

What youll achieve

Our Artificial Intelligence Accelerator is an engineering and technology focused team spearheading Dells Digital Transformation by driving innovation in the way we deliver advanced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technology that can help our business units deliver improvements across our entire customer experience and optimize our business outcomes.

This position will merge data engineering and modern software practices to help teams transform data into algorithmic models that can generate insights and actions at scale. The candidate will use technical knowledge and industry expertise to formulate product strategies and identify how to support our Data Science teams to leverage data at scale to enable Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models into production.

This role will contribute to deliver a world class AI development experience that can enable Data Science teams to work at full velocity.

You will:

* Architect and own the Cloud-Native Modern Data domain to enable Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at scale.
* Define and build the set of AI Data capabilities and enterprise services that can be applied and re-used by our multiple Data Science teams.
* Work with internal stakeholders and users to validate business and user needs, translating them into user-centric product roadmaps that address the top Data Science opportunities.

Essential Requirements

* Education (Bachelors or Masters degree) in Business, Computer Science or Engineering.
* 12+ years of experience in Data architecture, Data Engineering, Data Base Administration of large scale and production grade operations.
* Ability to drive cross-functional decision making for highly technical solutions using Facts & Alternatives
* Proven ability to work with varied data infrastructure including relational databases, column stores, NoSQL databases, and file-based storage solutions.

Desirable Requirements

* Experience in Graph database is a Plus as are is exposure to languages used in modelling such as Python, R
* Experience with data processing software (such as Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive), along with data processing algorithms (MapReduce, Flume).
