Job Summary

The Director, Sales Communications will be responsible for leading the sales communications strategy and creative execution for all content across multiple platforms. Primary responsibility is to build communication campaigns that drive education and awareness of product launches, program changes, tool deployments, company initiatives, and channel news. The Director, Sales Communication will be responsible for bringing new thinking and innovative communication strategies to the sales organization. Partners closely with division communication partners, product stakeholders and channel leaders to understand priorities. Serves as a subject matter expert in communication platform enhancements. This role will partner with brand, marketing, employee engagement, product, channel, division, and program delivery teams. The Director, Sales Communications will oversee multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, with ownership for driving communication plans, assignments, scoping sessions, resource allocation, creative reviews, internal reviews, production and execution. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, possess strong strategic thinking skills, have the ability lead and motivate team members and be able to influence across all levels of the organization.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

* Lead development of breakthrough communication campaigns

* Manage multi-level organization, with internal and contractor resources
* Manage a budget for external partnerships with multiple agencies and vendors
* Manage team to work collaboratively with day-to-day counterparts on the brand, marketing, employee engagement, product, channel, division, and program delivery teams to deliver appropriate assets.
* Present to various stakeholders, senior leadership, division partners and channel leaders on strategies and progress
* Conduct analysis on campaign effectiveness, providing recommendations on how to enhance campaigns
* Coaches direct reports on quality, creativity, and effectiveness of communications. This includes providing coaching and editing of communications copy (e.g. internal news articles, job aids, videos, etc.), how to effectively use story-telling for Xfinity initiatives and news, visually-appealing graphics that support communications, such as infographics, stylized e-mails and e-mail banners, etc., and how to define metrics, measure, evaluate and deliver reporting as needed to understand the success of projects.
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* Generally requires 10+ years of experience
* Experience leading sales or frontline communication teams or a similar role, with a track record of working in a fast-paced environment, possess strong strategic thinking and ability to lead and motivate teams, influence management, peers and direct reports.
* Demonstrated success in developing breakthrough communications programs strategy, execution, and production.
* Proven track record working with and influencing cross-functional teams, as well as establishing an internal network of relationships at all levels of the organization to drive results.
* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.) as well as file management platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, and SharePoint.
* Highly skilled in graphic design and experience creating digital content.
* Strong writing skills with demonstrated ability to take on detailed, complex communication requests and turn them into easily digestible, bite-sized deliverables
* Demonstrated success in managing a complex workload with multiple priorities and tight deadlines with a focus on measuring results and improving performance.
* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong executive presence.
* Solutions oriented leader.
