This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Arrow Warehouse Shipping and Picking Department(s) located in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will ensure goals are met or exceeded while leading and developing a high-performance organization to service our high-tech customer base.

What Youll Be Doing:

* Typical shift, 3pm-11:30 pm . Subject to change based on the needs of the business

* Responsible for the day-to-day functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s), ensuring goals are met or exceeded.

* Ability to manage personnel - hiring, developing, workflow scheduling, and resource allocation for more than one department/functional area and/or technical production within a business group. Strategic planning and process improvement thru CPI or Lean principles.

* Ensures performance of department goals, including allocation of headcount and process improvements to analyze and improve efficiency. Responds to internal and external customer inquiries. Participates in making basic improvement enhancements.

* Responsible for performance efficiency, time worked, quality reporting and improvement, performance metrics. Works with manager to determine courses of action for budgetary responsibility.

* Trains and acts as an informal mentor to junior members of supervisory staff.

* Assists level 1 supervisor staff in developing the technical skills necessary to make informed decisions.

* Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Minimum 5 years related experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment

* Understanding of Manufacturing Requirements Planning

* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to manage people and processes

* Must possess well-developed leadership and organizational skills

* Ability to excel in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

* A high degree of dependability and integrity

* MS Office proficiency

* Ability to work evening shift hours to support carrier pick-ups

* Warehouse Management System experience

* Six Sigma/Lean concepts

* Ability to interpret and use statistics in day-to-day decision-making

* Project management concepts/principles

* Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Pareto and flow charts

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$70,200.00 - $85,800.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
