* In-depth knowledge of the agile process
* Proficiency in using Kanban
* Willingness to learn and grow; embracing of change
* Experience playing the scrum lead role for at least 2 teams
* Great understanding and demonstrated knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
* Excellent communication and mentoring skills
* 3+ years in helping organizations thrive
* Experience managing globally distributed and virtual teams
* Detailed understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and practices
* Strong lateral leadership, a willingness to get the job done
* Comprehensive knowledge of the overall marketing department
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with demonstrated experience exercising mature judgment in delicate situations
* SUCCESS METRICS:
* 80% of sprints show team improvement (ie. velocity, cycle time, throughput, quality)
* Backlog refinement occurs at least once per sprint
* Reduce mean time for impediment resolution
* Regularly contribute to scrum lead community of practice
* Support knowledge transfer across teams
* Facilitation that helps teams better organize their work, stay focused, be productive

Description

This position requires a resourceful servant leader who is passionate about getting things done and helping teams thrive. You will care more about driving the team and business success than about following the rules of agile frameworks. Must be skilled at applying agility to enhance product delivery. - In the role of the Scrum of Marketing Scrum Leader, create a wholistic agile approach to the marketing organization to drive the team towards quarterly/yearly goals and objectives - Create and nurture a scrum at scale agile culture within the marketing team and leadership - Find common values and create greater goals for the marketing team - Increase the teams efficiency, motivation, quality, and timeliness - Collaborate with other scrum leads to increase the effectiveness of the organization - Assist teams with prioritizing and managing backlogs for timely and accurate product delivery - Help drive initiatives and projects through the agile process to completion - Collaborate with product owners to change and adapt processes to meet the teams needs - Drive daily sprint meetings with teams to ensure accurate tracking of projects and goals - Identify and create transparency on marketings blockers, risks and inhibitors company wide - Organize and prioritize critical issues, required information, and available resources for the VP of Marketing to facilitate efficient decision making - Bring together multiple stakeholders to help make decisions and complete projects - Determine, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the teams success - Facilitate Agile ceremonies fostering a culture of relentless improvement and focus. Bridge between team and product owner visions - Creating and maintaining cross-departmental relationships to enable leadership success - Coordinating dependencies and handling impediments via Scrums of Scrums
