Job Description

This individual is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team and functions as the SRR Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter for the recruiting and staffing process for SRR. Activities include posting requisitions, sourcing candidates and hiring individuals to fill open positions in a timely manner. In addition to providing administration and support to the overall SRR Talent Acquisition mission, he/she will interface with the Human Resources organization after on-boarding to assure a smooth transition for the new employee.

Effectively manage the job posting and hiring process from beginning to end. Tasks may include:

Work with hiring managers to understand the position’s role and plan the posting timeline, sourcing strategy, etc.   Advise hiring managers on the progress of the requisitions; make suggestions in response to changing priorities
Schedule interviews, manage Site visit logistics
Communicate interview details, and if necessary, host interview visits
Ensure all interview notes and requisition documents are collected and stored appropriately
Extend and negotiate offers
Manage the On-boarding processes 
Provide a high level of service for a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. 

Utilize a variety of recruiting methods to source candidates and work with Talent Acquisition team to develop new methods to identify candidates for both existing and future vacancies
Manage the candidate experience as they move through the hiring process; answer questions and direct them to appropriate resources; provide authorization for relocation, training, badges, etc.
Administer SRR student intern program, new hire orientation, and other Talent Acquisition programs as assigned. 
Ensure new employee orientation provides current information about policies, job duties, working conditions, and other pertinent information
Coordinate periodic non-exempt hiring initiatives to include posting, applicant screening, testing verification, scheduling high-volume interview activity, and hiring
Assist with employee relocation to include verification of eligibility, submission of forms and documentation of accounts processed.
Stay current with legal requirements, government regulations, and prevailing practices in human resource management
Analyze data to make informed decisions and improve recruiting efficacy
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information, and work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 2+ years relevant experience
At least one year must include a comprehensive recruiting/staffing role, from opening a job posting requisition through the offer stage
Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management with Human Resources or similar personnel management concentration
Current work experience and administrative use of an automated Applicant Tracking System (ATS) system
Enthusiasm and creativity for developing programs targeted to university students
Possess knowledge of general human resources laws and procedures, as well as best practices in staffing and recruitment practices and knowledge of the technical and legal aspects of the hiring processes
General knowledge of standard Compensation practices, Benefits Programs and understanding of government compliance regulations such as OFCCP and EEOC
Analytic skills and a strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and scale projects in response to changing business needs

Savannah River Remediation LLC, a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, is responsible for managing the Department of Energy’s Savannah River Site’s Liquid Waste operations contract. Located in Aiken, South Carolina, SRR is a limited liability company formed by nuclear operations and environmental remediation global leaders Amentum, Bechtel, BWXT, and Jacobs. The SRR Team is responsible for the closure of waste tanks, the operation of the Savannah River Site’s Defense Waste Processing Facility, tank farm operations and associated production and disposal facilities.
