The Digital Product Manager for Audience Management is responsible for developing the product roadmap for enabling capabilities to support the Marketing Audience Segmentation processes to drive commercial success. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining and improving the tools and processes for data-driven targeting strategies.
This individual will work with Corporate and Divisional Marketing team members under the direction of the Senior Product Manager for Customer Data to define strategy and requirements for audience management capabilities. In partnership with the technology team, the Product Manager will define features and priorities for delivery of new capabilities and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of business and technical skills they will utilize as part of a team to successfully meet the positions objectives.
Job Description:
* Product Definition, Prioritization and Planning -- Coordinates among internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives with company goals. With the Senior Product Manager, develops the product strategy and feature roadmap. Leads project discovery, requirements definition, metrics analysis. Responsible for enhancing, scaling and optimizing product capabilities across Thermo Fisher Scientific business divisions. Creates product capability overviews and release notes to socialize new product capabilities features and benefits. Works with IT and business teams to facilitate development of new capabilities and enhancements.
* Marketing Insights Defines the strategy and delivers capabilities to deploy customer insights into audience development and targeting strategies.
* Tools and Technology Evaluates and deploys new tools and technology to support audience segmentation and journey management. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure on time and quality delivery of initiatives by balancing the business needs versus technical constraints, and escalating issues and risks to drive solutions as necessary.
* Customer Data Privacy - Responsible for support and compliance of global data privacy laws in relation to Audience management tools and processes, under the direction of the Marketing Data Privacy Lead and per guidance from the Data Privacy Office and Legal.
* Measurement With business stakeholders and analytics team members, defines metrics and dashboards for measurement and tracking of Marketing Audience performance. Builds business case to justify expenditures for new capabilities with demonstrated revenue and profitability gain.
* Competitive Analysis - Researches competitor dynamics and capabilities, industry trends, voice of the customer; establishes subject matter expertise in the area of Audience Management tools and processes,
* Presence & Leadership - Interacts with Director/VP Leadership; manages by influence, engages with cross-functional teams; evangelist for maturity in audience management tools and processes.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
* Minimum of 3 years related experience (CRM, Digital Marketing technology, Marketing software or Digital Product Management), or 2 years plus Masters Degree
* Experience developing roadmaps and release plans in partnership with IT to achieve strategic and operational goals
* Thought leader in Audience Management; able to bridge the gap between Marketing and IT
* Proven ability to successfully maximize technology investments
* Strong verbal/written communication skills; excellent negotiation, facilitation and consensus building skills
* Demonstrated project management skills including the ability to formulate and drive detailed plans and key performance indicators to report on the health of each project
* Ability to build relationships with key individuals, teams and vendors necessary for collaboration
* Experience providing verbal and written communications to senior leadership, and ability to communicate the desired message, at the appropriate level, for the right recipient
