We have an amazing career opportunity available for a passionate leader to run our manufacturing plant and warehouse in Eldridge, Iowa. Reporting to the Global Director of Manufacturing, the Plant Manager has responsibility for all aspects of the plant operation including P&L responsibility, inventory management, process improvement, safety, and regulatory compliance. This role oversees a team of two leads and about 20 associates total and will ensure the development of all of the teammates within the facility.

Responsibilities:

* Management of Operations, Inventory, Emergency Contingency Plan and Maintenance

* Collaborates with all functional areas within Operations, Human Resources, Sales, IT and Corporate organizations as needed

* Development and/or oversight of capital improvement projects; Budget and Contractor Management.

* Regularly interface with the sales team to resolve inventory, production, or shipment issues and to ensure customer needs are consistently being met.

* Has responsibility for managing daily operations and continually driving efficiency and improvement within the operation

* Ensure safety and efficiency of the facility

* Remain in compliance with facility ISO standards and all HSE guidelines

* Prepare, analyze and issue production and performance reports

* Control costs to achieve company budget goals

Qualifications:

* 7-10 years of industrial management/supervisory experience

* Bachelor's degree in a related field

* Expertise with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools/methods

* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams with a servant leader attitude

* Experience working in an ISO environment

A note about the work environment: This is a specialty chemical blending and packaging facility where hazardous materials are present. There are also moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures and work space restrictions. So, at time, you may be required to wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which may include: eye, hearing and respiratory protection, protective apron, steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hats, or face shields.
