Responsible for the day-to-day managing and execution of asset deployments, new product introduction deployments, productivity improvements, optimization, process improvement, and strategic problem solving. The job entails acting as a consultant with the distributors and internal business partners to more effectively manage field assets, capitalize on new business opportunities and to ensure proper return on investment is achieved.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Act as a consultant with key data owners and stakeholders at the distributor locations to analyze opportunities to increase inventory productivity
Analyze and review new business opportunities, and asset requests with commercial engagement
Work closely with Commercial Sales, Global Marketing, Field Operations and Demand Planning to ensure asset deployments are delivered on-time and complete.
Support commercialization groups with new product rollout strategies and brand rationalizations
Support and develop U.S. field facing reporting that will drive better asset management and improvement
Support and develop various supply control process Including backorder management and strategic asset allocation
Support Assets Deployment & internal business partners with special projects and initiatives

Expected Areas of Competence

- Possess knowledge of field inventory processes and functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve results through influence in a team oriented environment.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and identify creative solutions to complex problems.
- Have understanding of supply chain and business processes including requirements planning, distribution, and sales.
- In-depth knowledge of information systems, interrelations and tools including Microsoft Office applications, SQL, Access, VBA, and the ability to utilize these tools to deliver critical business reporting and applications.
- Understanding of Zimmer Biomet products, strategic business units, and basic manufacturing process.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and how to impact and influence people.

Education/Experience Requirements

B.S. in Business Management, Information Management, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience with sales operations functions and/or inventory management/logistics preferred.

Travel Requirements

10 to 15%
