Finding innovative solutions is the goal of the Pipeline Capacity Model Developer, and youll collaborate with your project team, senior management and clients to get there. Your technical leadership will take Williams to the next level of IT functionality, improving performance, efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities/Expectations:

* Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software applications
* Uses project management concepts, requirements gathering and documentation, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and testing
* Solves complex problems; takes broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
* Analyzes and develops short and long-term solutions to meet business needs
* Coordinates with users to determine business requirements and provides IT services to internal clients
* Produces quality functional and technical documentation
* Collaborates effectively with clients, project team and senior management to develop solutions that facilitate the integration of business processes
* Recommends solutions based on business requirements within an enterprise environment
* Provides technical leadership within a wider virtual team, mentors other team members and ensures projects stay on schedule
* Other duties as assigned

Education Requirements:

* Required: Bachelors degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience, a minimum eight (8) years IT experience

Other Requirements:

* Preferred: Capacity modeling of natural gas or liquids pipeline.
* Preferred: Minimum of five (5) year experience in programming languages; Java, Object-Oriented programming concepts and design patterns, in browser technologies (HTML5, AngularJS, Javascript, Jquery, CSS3) Database technologies (REST APIs T-SQL using MS SQL Server 2008 [or higher] or Sybase /ASE)
* Preferred: Prior experience in the energy industry in the areas of measurement, trading, scheduling, accounting or risk management
* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
* Experience designing, developing, testing, and delivering technical requirements in a production system
* Exposure to all phases of systems development, especially the design and delivery of web applications
* Follows ITIL change management and work intake processes
* Others duties as assigned

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

* Must be able to provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis

General Compensation Information:

This role will be eligible for an Annual Incentive Program (AIP) payment. AIP payments are discretionary compensation based on business performance in relation to enterprise goals, the incentive opportunity for the role, and individual performance. Certain roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive awards.
