Cypress Creek Hospital is seeking a flexible, dynamic and talented Intake (Admissions) Registrar.

Cypress Creek Hospital, a freestanding 128-bed facility, located in north Houston, has been faithfully serving Houston and surrounding communities for over 20 years. We are dedicated to the provision of quality care and assistance for individuals and families in need of psychiatric care and treatment for substance abuse and offer a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adolescents and adults. www.cypresscreekhospital.com

Registrar Position Summary:

The Registrar is responsible for providing completing registration forms, entering data in the patient management system, managing admission workflow, and bed board.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Patient registration and data entry
* Ensure accuracy of intake information entered in patient information system
* Answer inquiry calls in a professional manner obtaining all required information from caller
* Conduct searches of patient belongings
* Escort patients to unit or program area
* File, complete tracking logs and distribute copies of admission paperwork to the appropriate unit/department
* Manage department flow including bed board

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED. Some college preferred.

Experience: One (1) year experience in ER patient registration experience required, behavioral health experience preferred.

Licensure: None

Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certification may be obtained during orientation.

Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a customer centric fast-paced environment.

Hours: Must be able to work a 12-hour shift. Shifts include days (7am - 7pm) or Nights (7pm - 7am). Must be able to work rotating weekends.
