As a key member of the UnitedHealthcare Clinical Services organization, you will be part of UnitedHealth Group's mission of helping people live healthier lives.
The Clinical Continuum program is balancing the need for market specific process variation with national and regional standardization to drive efficiencies, improve clinical outcomes, increase NPS and enhance value creation. This position is responsible for providing program coordination, data analysis and ongoing support to their assigned market specific Chief Medical Officers (CMOs). You will create process design, implement projects, diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions in the quest for better health care.
If you are located in CST or EST Time Zones, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Close partnership and collaboration with assigned Market CMOs to ensure that their program coordination, data analysis and ongoing Clinical Continuum support needs are met
* Analyzes and investigates
* Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
* Independently and proactively identifies/escalates issues, and/or collaborates with internal team or business partners
* Assesses and interprets customer needs and requirements translating concepts into practice
* Independently and proactively identifies/escalates issues, and/or collaborates with internal team or business partners
* Works with minimal guidance and exclusively within specific knowledge area; seeks guidance when appropriate on complex tasks
* Creates clear and concise communications for internal business partners
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
* Coordinates and compiles information from multiple individuals and departments
* Presents complex ideas to various cross-functional areas in a simple and easily understood manner
* Manages changing priorities and work on multiple projects concurrently

Required Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree or an equivalent of 4+ years of related work experience
* 2+ years of business process experience
* Experience performing Data Analysis
* Experience presenting information to leadership and working partners
* Intermediate level or higher proficiency MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of insurance clinical and claims processes
* Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix environment
