Primary Responsibilities:
* Acts as a medical scribe for the Medical Provider when needed
* Prepares the patient for the Medical Provider's examination by obtaining vital signs and patient history
* Prepares and maintains the examination and treatment areas
* Prepares the patient for and assists with the examination, procedures, and treatments
* Organizes and maintains medical, medication, and immunization records
* Shows understanding on New Jersey State Immunization schedule and administers shots and vaccinations consistent with Medical Provider's orders
* Assisting the Medical provider in treatments and procedure and ensuring that all orders are carried out appropriately and in a timely fashion; work collaboratively with staff
* Performs inventory of supplies and equipment
* Performs routine maintenance and calibration of administrative and clinical equipment which includes sterilization techniques
* Cooperates with other RMG employees to achieve specific team goals
* Under the supervision of the Medical Provider:
* Responds to patient telephone calls and queries in a timely and amicable manner
* Oversees the quality of work performed by the Medical Assistants
* Makes follow-up telephone calls to patients
* Provides patient with laboratory results within the scope of practice
* Wound care knowledge
* All RMG employees are expected to keep abreast on current medical requirements relevant to their position, which includes maintaining patient confidentiality and abiding by all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
* Well knowledgeable about AAP, CDC and WHO recommendations and regulations

Required Qualifications:
* Current and valid Texas Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) license
* 2+ years of experience working as an LPN
* Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English and Spanish
* Maintains American Heart Association Basic Life Support HCP Certification
* Proficient in Microsoft office skills
* You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role
* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained
