Job Summary:
The Provider Payment Relations Team Lead is responsible for providing direct team member leadership, creating and refining business processes, and ensuring complex provider payment issues are resolved. This position will work within a large, matrixed environment to gather information and assist the provider with payment redemption solutions, banking resolution, provider tax levies and payment resolution. The position serves as a primary subject matter expert for peer support, change management, user acceptance testing, pulling monthly metric data, procedural write ups, identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities:
* Provider direct oversight of Optum Pay Operations PPR Team Members
* Support, coach, and audit team member work and performance metrics
* Provide SME support to team members as they support complex both internal and external provider inquiries
* Review, analyze and identify trends and provides reports as necessary to Optum Pay leadership
* Provide exceptional service to all providers
* Work rejected ACH payments from the providers account via phone & email, as needed
* Consistently reviews established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards
* Monitor and investigate bank account changes that occur during the red flag potential process
* Monitor all Optum Pay Operations email box(s) to ensure tasks are completed within TAT
* Identify and communicate solutions to provider questions, using appropriate problem-solving skills and established guidelines, where available (e.g., workarounds, descriptions of relevant processes)
* Communicate with providers via both written and verbal communications
* Establishment and maintenance process documents
* Curate environment that encourages teamwork, interdependence, inclusion, and ethical behavior
* Complete User Acceptance Testing to ensure monthly releases are successful
* Support internal audit requests from business partners
* Assist leadership with various projects, as needed
* Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
* High school education or higher
* 3+ years of work experience in an office environment, healthcare related/insurance related field or customer service industry
* Intermediate to Advanced skill with using Microsoft Office management tools (must be able to open, send, create, and edit documents, presentations, emails, and spreadsheets. Must know advanced skills such as Charting, Pivot Tables & Pivot Reporting. VBA & Macros
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener.
