This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
These departments are 12 hours shifts: 6pm to 6am
Labeling:
Must be willing to operate the scale and weigh the product per the guidelines established
Must be willing to set the scale weights, times, and dates daily and check weights periodically throughout the shift
Must be willing to calibrate the scale at start up and after every break.
Must be willing to do other duties as assigned (5% of the time).
Must be willing to do repetitive motions with the hands and shoulders to the job tasks daily.
Must be willing to reach, grip, and lift.
Must be willing to stand approximately 10 hours a day with (1) one (45) forty-five minute break
Must be willing to bend, turn, twist and use both hand continuously.
Must be willing to lift 33.10 lbs. or more.
28 Degree Room:
Primary tasks of position are to grasp stacked product racks, which have been staged at/near work station by pull up man and align to platform at infeed end of conveyor located at work station.
De-stack racks, placing racks onto platform, and then sliding them onto conveyor. Once all racks have been removed from a stack, the wheel will be assigned to a location adjacent to work station; wheels will be stacked for easy removal from area. Other tasks include assisting in removal of over pulls from conveyor as necessary, placing boxes onto conveyor and opening them if product is out of boxed inventory.
Rehires are eligible for only 3 times employment at any Tyson Facility and must wait 6 months after leaving before they can reapply.
