Bell has an opening for an experienced Supply Chain Contracts Specialist to join the team in the Fort Worth, TX headquarters.

In this role, you are responsible for timely execution of supply chain projects, procurement actions and long-term, high-dollar/complexity contracting efforts supporting Bells Commercial and Military Programs related to customizations, kitting, and global campaigns. Such contracts represent the outgrowth of a defined commodity strategy, and the Senior SC Contracts Specialist works directly with the Strategic Sourcing Manager and Supply Chain Analyst to design and manage a contracting approach that will place a large majority of commodity spend on LTC with a rationalized supply base that delivers superior cost, quality and availability.

Primary activities of the SC Contracts Specialist include:

* Primary supply chain liaison between assigned Commercial team(s), H-1 or V-22 PMO and the SCM organization, including the tactical procurement organization in Amarillo/Mirabel and strategic procurement organization in Ft. Worth.
* Work directly with Program Management and SCM/Procurement ensuring Program contract requirements are complete, sourcing decisions are best value; long-term contracts/Global Outline Agreements (GOA)/Purchase Orders have sufficient scope; affordability initiatives are coordinated; cost out strategies/ plans are embedded in negotiation strategies; and, make/buy board decisions are balanced from an SCM/Program perspective.
* Responsible for managing overall supply chain project efforts including but not limited to sourcing strategy development, tactical procurement coordination to support program initiatives, supplier management, quality and delivery schedule, as well as cost performance of the selected supply base for assigned Commercial and/or Military programs.
* The SC Contracts Specialist prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations, employing optimal cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools to advance the organizations key supply chain objectives, as well as finalizes contract awards.
* In all activities, the Contracting Specialist ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements and policies.
