About This Role

The Sr Systems Engineer will apply systems engineering methodology, tools and techniques to support the design, manufacture and test of manned Naval Systems. The successful candidate will provide systems engineering support for vehicle development and test to include Human Factors, Reliability, Requirements Development, System Safety, and Test. The emphasis here will be on Systems Engineering leadership and requirements management.

Responsibilities:

* Review specifications, engineering drawings and technical documentation for Systems Engineering impact.
* Develop systems engineering analysis, reports and associated documentation required for contract deliverables.
* Develop, document, and decompose system and sub-system level requirements.
* Perform hazard analysis for hardware and ancillary support equipment along with appropriate testing requirements. Review analyses such as Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs) using Word, Windchill or equivalent tools.
* Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to ensure appropriate Systems Engineering practices are applied.
