Position Summary

Under the leadership of the VP of Supply Chain, the Sr. Supply Chain Manager has primary responsibility for defining, planning, tracking and managing assigned projects. Will be responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives. The initial project will be all around the implementation of WiAS (Winning in Analytical Sciences) capability in CMD. This to include Distribution point setups Globally, integration of order mgmt. process, SIOP process, order fulfillment, replenishment strategy and the overall day to day execution. Additionally, the Project Leader will function as the Global Process Owner (GPO) for the divisional supply chain processes.

How will you make an impact?
Develop and facilitate implementation of world-class supply chain operations practices and procedures within the business unit and support roll-out throughout the business.

Manage and execute the sales inventory and operations plan (SIOP) processes for the product line. Including forecasting, inventory management and reporting, capacity planning, and leadership reviews.

Own product, capacity, quality, and supplier escalations and drive appropriate root cause countermeasure (RCCM) and early warning systems.

Ensure active coordination and partnership with the global factory and supplier network in Asia, Europe and North America.

Responsible for weekly reporting on KPIs including revenue progression.

Facilitate weekly and monthly operating reviews to ensure adherence to key business metrics.

Drive improvements and maintain metrics for forecast accuracy, DOS, inventory value, capacity, utilization, sourcing savings, PPI savings

Communicate, influence and interact globally with broad functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance) to develop and execute plans to achieve annual operating plan (AOP) goals.

Lead all practical process improvement (PPI) activities for the business unit across multiple sites to drive continuous improvement.

Key member of all new product introduction (NPI) projects and coordinating all supply chain efforts for product launch.

Lead projects and actions to successfully focus global operations and supply chain and ensure optimal quality, delivery and cost while increasing customer allegiance score (CAS).

Serve as primary escalation point for order fulfillment issues by provide coordination for resolution, including investigation and diagnosis.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of university education and work experience required.

At least 10+ years direct experience managing a global supply chain or operations.

Experience with a continuous improvement methodology (e.g., LEAN, Six Sigma).

Demonstrated people management desirable

Familiarity with major ERP/MRP system such as SAP
