Job Duties:
This role is primarily responsible for laboratory equipment lifecycle management, emergency repair, as well as routine maintenance. Candidate will have experience with troubleshooting equipment, identifying/ordering parts, and verifying working status. Primary duties include but are not limited to:
* Performs routine maintenance on manufacturing instruments and automated equipment.
* Troubleshooting of automated equipment used throughout the manufacturing process.
* Performs accurately and efficiently routine tasks or as assigned by management.
* Supports generation of user required specifications for designing new equipment.
* Collaborates with validation department to author new and requalification protocols.
* Works well with a variety of scientists/technicians.
* Identifies problems or potential problems and reports them to his/her supervisor.
* Understands and applies GDP guidelines consistently when documenting work.
* General laboratory housekeeping.
* Inventorying and replacement parts and supplies.
* Follows safety guidelines.
* Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education and Training Required:
* Associate Degree with relevant experience
* Bachelors Degree in related discipline
