Responsible for software and technology-related hardware within the organization. This includes planning, monitoring and recording software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with corporate policies. Lead the process of forming procurement strategies to optimize technology spend across the organization. Develop procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles, as well as audit the overall success of those procedures.

* Provide coaching to less experienced team members
* Participate in, and/or lead HW/SW audits
* Prepare and track asset related metrics
* Lead and direct the work of others
* Provide team activity reporting updates to leadership
* Maintain asset purchase information, inventory and owner association within a central tracking system
* Work closely with all areas of the IT department to track existing, procured and retired assets
* Associate invoices with hardware / software purchases
* Maintain software, hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, servers) and license inventories for all locations
* Maintain Certificates of Destruction for all recycled equipment
* Ensure retired assets are stored in a secured area and marked for destruction or recycle
* Open tickets for all purchases in order to provide historical tracking
* Ensure all identifiable company information is removed from all retired hardware
* Perform periodic asset audits to verify the assets currently in use, the location, and owner
* Establish a notification process for asset purchase to ensure proper tracking
* Process invoices related to hardware/software vendor purchase
* Work with local and national recyclers to ensure assets are correctly disposed of or discarded
* Work with project teams to evaluate and manage equipment and hardware associated with acquisitions
* Provide asset reporting on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis
* Meet regularly with IT department employees to obtain asset information
* Perform regular audits to ensure assets as well as invoices are properly tracked
Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor degree equivalent education, training and work-related experience
* 5+ years of experience in an IT support environment
* High degree of initiative, mature judgment and discretion
* Must perform well in high-energy, dynamic and team-oriented environments
* Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
* Experience working with an enterprise ticketing system
* Self-motivated achiever who gains satisfaction from providing excellent customer service
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization
* Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
* Ability to lift and carry computers and computer monitors up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor Degree in an IT or finance related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and / or work experience
* ITSM experience
