Responsibilities
State Farm is seeking a data evangelist. A thought leader in workforce analytics, you drive the talent strategy forward by identifying signal from noise and weaving a compelling story to inform and influence stakeholders.
You possess strong experience and expertise in data analytics, particularly with large data sets to drive actions through statistical methods, techniques and technologies. You understand the business area strategy and key metrics and influence a shift toward a data driven culture. You will create and manage an environment that empowers a team to use advanced/predictive analytics in providing expertise to support the objectives of today and into the future. We are seeking candidates that possess the following:
* Ability to cultivate relationships in and out of the Human Resources & Development (HR&D) division to ensure alignment and integration of data driven decisions
* Provides training, support and consultation for other HR&D division using workforce data to solve related business issues
* Capacity to establish, maintain and enhance workforce analytics, forecasting and planning processes and tools to support and influence organizational decisions
* Facilitate senior leader conversations related to workforce planning and/or analytics
Qualifications
* Prefer experiences with statistical methods, predictive analytics, data mining and modeling, and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, SQL in order to coach team members and influence work efforts
* Preference for experience with engagements in human capital/people analytics initiatives in the area(s) of workforce analytics, forecasting and planning processes, talent acquisition and/or talent management
* Minimum of five years' leadership experience
* Bachelor degree or equivalent education/experience. Advanced degrees preferred
