Salesforce Ventures is the strategic venture arm of Salesforce. We work with partners from the seed stage through IPO across a broad array of B2B SAAS sectors.
As a member of the Portfolio Development team, our objective is to understand what our companies needs are and help them achieve their goals. Our charter is to leverage the power of Salesforce to help our 275+ portfolio companies grow their business and build meaningful relationships with Salesforce and our customers. This new role is an opportunity to work with the hottest startups and materially impact their businesses.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Portfolio Support
* Maintain an accurate and up to date view of the portfolio, their products, and goals.
* Work to ensure portfolio companies are engaged where appropriate across the various initiatives and programs across Salesforce.
* Work with Partner teams across Salesforce to ensure goals are aligned and accomplished.
* Salesforce Ventures Platform Scale
* Support the various Salesforce Ventures teams to help scale efficiency and reach.
* Leverage the various resources such as Salesforce Ventures Advisors, Salesforce Innovation Center, and Events to provide meaningful experiences to the portfolio.
* Establish and maintain processes to monitor and track engagements across the portfolio and investment teams.
* Salesforce Ventures Investment Team Support
* Support the Investment Team in delivering the value of Salesforce Ventures.
* Work with our investment, marketing and events teams to refine playbooks, highlight wins, and showcase accomplishments of the team and the portfolio.
Desired Experience
* BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
* 5-10 years experience in enablement, program management, or other relevant field
* Must be a team player and embrace the Salesforce Ohana Culture
* High level of energy and enthusiasm for startups, solving business challenges
* Strong networking skills - with the ability to build/manage cross-functional initiatives
* Familiarity with the Salesforce Product Suite and its use cases
* Excellent communication and strong analytical/problem solving skills
* Must be results oriented and ability to move forward without complete/dynamic information
* Self-directed/driven with excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a remote environment
