The Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) ATFLIR & Jacksonville Depot Section is responsible for the maintenance of Test Equipment supporting the ATFLIR Test Equipment in McKinney. Our ATFLIR Test Equipment team maintains both Raytheon-funded and Customer funded test equipment at our McKinney factory.
Our section is currently seeking an experienced Senior Tech Support Engineer to join our team in McKinney TX. The candidates primary responsibility will be to provide factory support of existing test equipment for repair, maintenance and calibration. The candidate will follow established procedures and instructions while working with a cross-functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and operations assembly and test.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 4 years of technical experience working in a production/repair factory environment; Electro Optics factory experience preferred.
Experience with maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of test equipment in a production environment
Experience in troubleshooting test set hardware and software
Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs Network Analyzers, Power Meters, Relays, etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Familiar with analog and digital signal testing
Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance within one year of hire date; Active Secret clearance is preferred.

Experience prioritizing and handling multiple tasks in a production environment
Troubleshooting Skills
Self-Motivated willing to work in a team environment
Experience with Windows Operating Systems and MS-DOS
Experience with Metrology support teams for troubleshooting, repair and calibration of test equipment
Experience as a lab manager for engineering labs
Qualified Six Sigma Specialist
Required Education:
* Bachelors Degree
* NOTE: In lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree with 8 years' related experience OR High school Diploma with 12 years' of related experience
