Job Function
Qualcomm Engineering Services Group is a technical consultancy group whose strategic objective is support the deployment & commercial operation of new wireless technologies. The group assists network operators worldwide in the deployment, optimization and evolution of 5G wireless network systems. From our office in Nuremberg, support is provided to operators throughout Europe.
Responsibilities
As a Qualcomm Engineering Services Group intern you will leverage your academic knowledge to enhance the automation tools related to 5G Network Performance optimization.
Skills/Experience
This opportunity is part of our European Intern Program. To qualify for this position, you must be a student (electrical engineering or computer science with major in communication) in the middle or towards the end of your studies looking for an Intern placement as a mandatory part of your degree for 6 months. Required competences:
* Experience in Matlab and C++
* Good understanding of mobile communications systems.
* Familiarity with 3GPP protocols and NR/LTE Call Processing is plus
* Ability to collect information and identify fundamental patterns/trends in data.
* Ability to convey information clearly and accurately
Education Requirements
Bachelor finished (preferably close to Master)
