The Strategic Investment Research Group (SIRG) within PGIM Investments, is a group of highly trained experts, and specialized analysts who devote their full attention to knowing and understanding the players in the global money management community. SIRG was founded over 30 years ago to serve Prudential Financials wealth management divisions. Today SIRG provides services to a wide range of Prudential Financials businesses, ranging from basic research and reporting to full-service platform consulting and discretionary multi-manager portfolio management.

Job Responsibilities:

* Gaining 360-degree exposure to the asset management industry from both the standpoint of being part of the investment research/consulting process, and exposure to portfolio managers from best-in-class investment firms that interact with SIRG.

* Contributing to SIRGs Weekly Market Recap - Compiling market data, economic statistics and major news items

* Contributing to the creation of SIRGs Quarterly Investment Manager Survey. A survey of 3rd party investment managers regarding their views of the economy, asset market, and other issues impacting the overall investment community.

* Contributing to the development of SIRGs Quarterly Investment Outlook - Assisting in generation and analysis of market performance, valuation, and economic statistics used to arrive at forward-looking market views

* Leading a research project where the key discoveries will help SIRG in its mission to continually evolve its investment process. The project will consist of conducting background research, data gathering, data analysis, drawing conclusions, determining investment implications, and culminate with a presentation to the broad SIRG team.

* Potentially attending virtual due diligence meetings with investment managers alongside members the SIRG Research Team

Qualifications:

* Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelors program graduating between December 2022 and May 2023.

* Preferred areas of study: Finance, Economics or Accounting. Minimum 3.0 GPA required

* Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the requisite US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration.

* Strong research aptitude and ability to understand financial data; excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates proven computer skills
