Department Overview

The Shared Services Business Operations team delivers a broad range of expertise and services to drive integrated, cross-organizational solutions for Shared Services. By providing strategic counsel and program governance, the team helps the organization balance operational strategy, risk, compliance, and continuous improvement. We aspire to build leading programs that enable Shared Services and PG&E to thrive in their operations.

Position Summary

Conducts research, data analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting in support of business decision making, strategy and operations. Participates in business process improvement, quality control and other initiatives. Develops, manages and coordinates performance and quality assessment, business process re-engineering, change management, communication and training.

Job Responsibilities

* Performs analysis on highly complex data models that have cross- functional impact
* Applies advanced knowledge to wide- ranging issues
* Develops innovative data solutions to address complex business issues. Presents findings and proposed recommendations to leaders
* Develop business cases in support of strategy or change initiatives
* Works with and leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across functions / PG&E
* Manages cross-functional projects or initiatives
* May provide direction and coaching to other Business Analysts
* Executes OT/UT while managing call delivery requirements across sites
* Lead Major Contract RFPs
* Provide financial oversite to Major Contracts
* Over see expense budget
* Manage Expense and Capital projects associated with Tanks, Pole covers and other environmental control systems

Qualifications

Minimum:

* Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
* 6 years job-related experience

Desired:

* MBA or Graduate Degree

* Extensive knowledge of different analytical methods, approaches and tactics
* Broad expertise in what-if modeling analysis, concepts, methods and techniques and analysis of how different factors affect business outcomes

* Influence skills to effectively gain buy in from leaders inside and outside of the department

* Adaptable to changing business conditions and ambiguity
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio or similar software
