Job Description The Senior Manager of Compensation leads the development, implementation and management of compensation strategies and practices related to broad-based associate compensation. This role builds and iterates strategic compensation / total rewards programs for our associates that are scalable, compliant and competitive. Manages team members responsible for compensation design and execution, modeling, project planning, communications and change management.

Associate Compensation Design: Develop and evolve strategic compensation / total rewards programs that support a high-performing and highly engaged associate experience and ultimately drive the company's competitive advantage. This includes the company's associate compensation philosophy, strategy, pay structure and practices (base and variable). Stay current on leading practices and build thoughtful analyses and modeling of solution design and delivery. Convert internal/external data and analyses into insights and executive-ready presentations to senior leaders.

Associate Compensation Delivery: Lead enterprise-wide strategic compensation / total rewards initiatives, including manage projects and actively lead change management and communication endeavors. Lead the compensation workstream for company acquisitions and integrations. Oversee systematic documentation of compensation practices and procedures and ensure consistency and compliance with changing state and federal laws and regulations. Monitor and report on the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of associate compensation practices.

Technology and Tools: Lead large-scale compensation management system procurements, conversions, implementations and enhancements. Continuously improve compensation-related technology and tools and automate compensation activities.

Relationship Management: Provide expert compensation consulting, education, support to Corporate and Field HR leaders and talent management partners; manage relations with third-party consultants/service providers and ensure compensation data exchanges are executed securely, accurately, timely.

Executive Compensation: Support the Director of Executive & Equity Compensation in administering the company's executive compensation and equity programs, including the annual short-term incentive program.

Corporate HR Leadership: Understand the company's business strategies and support the Total Rewards VP and HR leadership team in the development and execution of strategic HR initiatives.

Team Leadership: Build a high-performing Corporate Compensation team; recruit, develop and engage to deliver quality responsibilities/initiatives/projects on time and within budget; lead and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties.

Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field.

- 7+ years of compensation experience with 3+ years of leading teams for large/complex organizations
- High-level expertise in compensation strategy, compliance and technology
- Experience with company acquisitions and integrations
- Demonstrated ability to work in team environment, set priorities, manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver stellar results
- Strong collaboration skills combined with high level of integrity, credibility and ability to influence
- Track record of effective partnerships with business executives, legal, finance and HR leaders on topics of strategic importance
- Ability to balance strategic thinking and problem solving with detailed, focused execution
- Proven project, process and time management skills
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in HR, business or related field

1 - 3 years experience in foodservice distribution industry.
