Northrop Grumman Technology Services sector is seeking a Project Manager to join our team on the Internal Revenue Service 39;s (IRS) Contact Center Environment project. The ideal candidate will exhibit experience with large information technology infrastructure upgrades. He/she must be able to support operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project management and the planning/project teams. Additionally, the candidate will provide strategic planning, documentation, and carry-out various factions of project support including engaging stakeholders, tracking activities and reporting results to the senior leadership team.
Must have the ability to review status of projects and budgets to leadership as well as managing schedules and preparing status reports. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress (Microsoft Project), intervention and problem solving with fellow Project Managers, Managers, And Client Staff. NG provides thought leadership as a trusted advisor. The candidate must command a high level of technical comprehension and the ability to translate concepts when working closely with Executive level leadership. Excellent written and oral communications skills with the ability to understand their audience and communicate appropriately with all levels of IRS management is key.
This position will be located in Chamblee, GA.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
bull; Bachelor rsquo;s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Master rsquo;s Degree and 3 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience (preferably with information technology and/or related field, in lieu of a degree).
bull; Minimum 3 years of experience with large infrastructure IT projects,
bull; Minimum 3 years of experience managing heterogeneous project teams composed of resources from multiple vendors/ organizations,
bull; Ability to obtain and maintain a Treasury Minimum Background clearance.
bull; Possess US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with government based Contact Center Operations,
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification,
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Scrum Alliance,
* Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v3 Foundation,
* Lean Six Sigma certification,
* Experience with Total Quality Management (TQM) principles,
* Experience presenting ad-hoc research / documentation to client Leadership,
* Experience supporting analysis teams and maintaining MS Project WBS
* Extensive experience reviewing documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, manuals, test plans/cases, etc.,
