Join the Commerce and Ecosystem (C+E) team - the next generation of platform and experiences enabling Microsoft and Azure, the fastest-growing cloud platform in the world which makes billions of dollars of revenue. As a Software Engineer on the C+E team, you will work alongside multiple teams within Azure and throughout Microsoft to build out a mega-scale Commerce platform, provide world-class analytics to customers about their Azure consumption and billing details, and set the stage for enterprises all around the world to effectively interact with Azure to enable friction-free cloud deployments from Azure Marketplace, when and where you want it.

This role can provide an opportunity to use your existing skillset or your strong desire to learn new skillsets to build large scale Big Data services, highly scalable REST APIs, intuitive PowerShell Cmdlets, web services, and powerful web user experiences. Our tools empower Azure customers to create and manage their Azure subscriptions, view and manage their bills, understand and forecast their spending, and deploy Azure Marketplace solutions.

* 3+ years design and/or development skills/experience
* Knowledge in .NET, C, Cloud and parallel computing, JavaScript, Node.JS, HTML, Database, or Big Data
* Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms
* Understanding of efficient data structures and algorithms
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
* Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate U.S. Government clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
