Over the last year Microsoft Teams Meetings has experienced tremendous growth as we transform the way people communicate and work together across the globe. Microsoft Teams is now used by various industries from enterprises to governments to hospitals, educational institutions, and many others. Social distancing and remote work with COVID19 have changed the way customers are using Teams for online communications in a way that we never imagined. More users are meeting online with their camera turned on along with personalization and customization of their video feed such as filters, virtual backgrounds, and many advanced video capabilities.

To meet the growing needs of our product in this new norm we are seeking a product leader to join us and help define, drive, and architect requirements for next generation meetings clients and experiences. We want the real time communication experience to work seamlessly across all flavors of desktop operating systems as well as web. This next generation desktop client should be performant, consumes minimal GPU, CPU, Power and memory and should offer a faster, slick, lightweight experience to conduct meetings even on low end devices.

In this job, you'll define and own the roadmap of Microsoft Meetings client experiences and work with various teams within Microsoft to deliver these experiences to our customers and users. You are someone who

* Plan, drive and architect requirements for the next generation meeting clients and experiences
* Lead and motivate high performing teams of designers, researchers, engineers, and partners to ensure successful execution of scope, schedule, and cost.
* Develop feature roadmap that balances business, experience, and technology.
* Sketch out feature flows and UI wireframes and document detailed product requirements and functional specifications.
* Produce collateral for our field and the press to use to bolster our claims that Teams Meeting and Calling experiences provide the best audiovisual quality.
* Represent the product to customers, partners, and internally.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Human Factors.
* 5+ years of experience shipping software technology products and services.
* Understanding of operating systems performance including CPU, GPU, memory and power is desired
* Accessibility experience is a plus
