Overview:
The Business Resiliency Analyst is responsible for assisting with the development, administration, maintenance and execution of all aspects of the Enterprise Business Resiliency program in partnership with business unit representatives, as well as participation in the execution of crisis management and communication protocols during events that may impair normal business operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
This position can be remote in other locations within the United States.
Essential Functions:
* Business Continuity Planning: Assist with development, maintenance, testing and documentation of business resiliency program including Risk Assessments, Business Impact Analysis, Department Planning, Business Continuity Plans, Emergency Operations Center Planning, and development of functional drills and exercises.
* Situational Awareness: Share responsibility for ensuring constant awareness of any event that may impair normal operations or represent a threat to customers or associates, and effectively obtain, validate and communicate information regarding these events.
* Crisis Management: Support Enterprise response and impact mitigation of any business impairment event by effectively partnering with business units, as directed, in utilizing established methodologies for Planning & Preparation, Response, Recovery and After-Action.
* Applications and Systems: Develop technical expertise and skills necessary to serve as expert for administration, maintenance, enhancement and technical education & training relative to the software applications utilized by the Business Resiliency group.
* Training and Education: Assist with the development training and education projects related to Business Resiliency program components and/or evolving threats that may impact operations within the organization.
* Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university, or 3 to 4 years' directly related experience required.
* Certified Business Continuity Professional designation or Emergency Management certification very helpful, but not required.
Communication Skills:
* Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as reports and procedure manuals.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including relationship-building and negotiation skills and the ability to facilitate cross functional or multi-discipline teams.
Mathematical Skills:
* Must have above average mathematical skills, including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Reasoning Ability:
* Must be able to work independently but under minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
* This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
* May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
* Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Other Skills:
* Strong leadership, problem solving, strategic thinking and organizational planning skills required.
* Strong process-orientation with superior skills in defining and mapping operational processes, as well as project management, and prioritization skills.
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Hours:
* Availability to perform responsibilities during non-traditional business hours (weekends and holidays) is required.
* This position requires candidates to be available to respond to professional requirements at all times, with limited or no advance notice.
* Occasional travel required, which will occur at times with very short notice.
