Join Lockheed's Air Force Strategic Programs. This group of diverse Engineers has a long history of supporting the Air Force Mission reaching back to the 1960's. Today's challenge is to support the modernization of the Minuteman Weapon System by crafting, building, testing and deploying new Reentry Systems and Ground Equipment that will enable the new system to perform for many years to come. As a Systems Engineer for the GBSD program you will directly help establish the technical solution and overall system design for one of our country's most vital and sophisticated strategic Systems!

As the Systems Engineer for Requirements and Verification, you will:

Be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and releasing requirements specification documents, including defining the requirements and verification baseline
Support requirements and verification team projects and coordinate regularly with key partners to maintain program objectives
Quickly become a proficient independent contributor with DOORS database and apply systems engineering change control process to retain control of the requirements
Develop and maintain .dxl and VBA_Interface scripts for producing documents and reports from the DOORS database
Utilize ePDM, collaborator, and DOORS to implement change control of the DOORS database

Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a related subject area, or equivalent experience/combined education
Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
Knowledge of DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
Current or Active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:
Experience in requirements and verification of requirements
Script modification and development, preferably with DOORS
Experience with ePDM and change processes
Ability to define and document solutions to sophisticated problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to other internal/external teams
Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors
Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
