Description:
Acts as a part of a team facilitating and managing the
Performance Management Team (PMT) Process at
the MFC Camden facility. Works and interfaces with
other groups and functions at all levels to support,
maintain and improve the PMT process.
Attends weekly team meetings for assigned teams,
facilitates meetings as required.
Acts as a liaison between Teams and
Director/Manager
Assists team leaders and management in selecting
team measurements and facilitates the goal
setting/adjustment processes.
Assures accuracy of savings packages and metric
data.
Consults with team leaders, facilitators, and
managers on team engagement, meeting
management, team performance and conflict
resolution.
Uses problem solving, lean six sigma and
continuous improvement techniques and tools to
improve processes.
Evaluates team activities for effectiveness and
engagement. Coach team leaders, facilitators, and
members on leadership, presentation and facilitation
skills. Advises on strategies to maximize productivity.
Evaluates and reports team performance to all
levels of the organization. Measures and tracks
progress to established goals.
Motivates teams and ensures focus is aligned with
PMT Mission, Production Operations Mission, and key
business objectives.
Creates and implements training materials to
enhance the effectiveness of the PMT process.
Conducts Team Leader Introductory training and
Metric training; coordinates other training initiatives
as needed.
Facilitates/Coordinates team recognition and award
activities
Leads and participates in special projects
Exchanges best practices with the eleven other PMT sites across MFC to strengthen the PMT process
This position will be located at a facility that requires
special access and requires the selected candidate to
be a US Citizen.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience
Proficient in SAP
Proficient in MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint.)
Ability to collect, verify and analyze data from multiple database systems.
Must have a strong understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques; experience
analyzing and developing metrics.
This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
Prior experience with PMT's; facilitating, team recognition and award activities.
Familiarity with the manufacturing process and organization structure at the Camden facility
Ability to train, mentor and coach employees on Measurement Reporting Systems.
Ability to lead and support regular presentations to multiple levels of the organization (both verbal & written)
Ability to identify, develop, and incorporate new metrics for continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work well with others.
Ability to motivate teams and ensures focus is aligned with PMT Mission, Production Operations Mission, and key business objectives.
Experience supporting a teaching culture and assisting in the development of PMT members
